Tulile Siyumbwa
Tulile Siyumbwa is a singer, songwriter, slam poet, and sonic storyteller from Lusaka whose work is deeply rooted in resilience, healing, and artistic expression. She earned a Foundation in Management in 2011 before pursuing her passion for music through a Diploma in Sound and Music Technology in 2014. While studying in Malaysia, she became active in spoken word poetry and eventually led the slam poetry collective Poets Passport in Cyberjaya, where she refined her voice as a storyteller and performer.
Following her return to Zambia in 2019 after surviving an abusive relationship, Tulile rebuilt her life through music, performing with local bands including The Playlists and The R3mnants. Her artistic journey expanded through mentorship programs at Alliance Française de Lusaka, where she strengthened her music business, leadership, and networking skills.
Career highlights include releasing “Kiss Me” with The R3mnants in 2022, opening for Mumba Yachi, and releasing her debut album, Meditations In The Dark, in 2023—a powerful reflection of survival, healing, and transformation through music and storytelling.
